**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAY AND SUNDAY IN MELBOURNE 32940 FROM 10:30 AM - 6:30PM**

Position Overview

As a FirstLight Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional in‑home support, including:

Personal care assistance
Companionship and emotional support
Mobility and safety assistance
Support for Veterans and aging adults
Light housekeeping and daily living support

Responsibilities

Monitor patient health and report any changes
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist with medication reminders.
Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
Follow care plans accurately to meet each client’s unique needs.
Bathing assistance and hygiene
Continence and toileting care
Oral hygiene
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must have valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, AHCA Level 2 Background, CPR, TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray

CNA or HHA Certification (will test for HHA at FirstLight with related job experience)

Two Hours Certification for HIV, Alzheimer’s, and Medication Assistance.

Valid CPR and First Aid certification.

Experience in home health, senior care, or assisted living preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility.
Compassionate attitude and dedication to client well-being.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Reliable transportation is preferred.
