Job Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Resident Assistant Caregiver, where your compassionate spirit and hands-on skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support daily activities, and foster a warm, safe environment that promotes independence and dignity. You will be the trusted companion and caregiver that residents rely on every day. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your caregiving expertise while positively impacting the well-being of those you serve.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor and record vital signs and charting of ADL's and tasked performances
Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques
Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas

Requirements

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred
Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support
Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies, and behavior management techniques
Strong caregiving skills demonstrated through previous long-term care or senior care roles
Valid driver’s license for transportation duties; clean driving record preferred
Comfort working in group home settings or personal care homes
