Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations during designated shifts, supervise employees, and ensure that our customers receive outstanding service. The Shift Manager's responsibilities include creating a shift schedule, delegating tasks, handling cash, and reporting any issues to the manager.

To be successful as a Assistant Manager, you should be able to manage a team of people and ensure that all duties are performed accurately. Ultimately, a top Shift Manager should be able to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

Supervising employees, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule.
Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently.
Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management.
Managing employee requests and transgressions.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.
Coaching team members and training new staff.
Opening and closing registers, accounting for the daily intake, and preparing cash deposits.
Handling customer issues and employee disputes.

· Manage food and labor costs.

· • Work with ownership to build sales

· • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws/regulations, compliance with food handling and sanitation standards

· • Recruit, train, and retain a service team that is passionate about their craft, respectful of others, and genuinely committed to exceeding guest expectations; and

· • Provide leadership, vision, and direction to bring together and prioritize the business goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.

Assistant Manager Requirements:

High school diploma/GED.
Previous experience as a Assistant Manager or in a similar role in retail.
Experience creating shift schedules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Confident problem-solver.
Team player.

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

8-hour shift
Day shift
Sunday to Saturday
Night shift
Weekend availability

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
