Full Job Description

Located in Mena, Arkansas and the heart of the scenic Ouachita Mountains, Brodix, Inc., is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist. We are the industry leading automotive manufacturer specializing in aluminum cylinder heads and engine blocks for the racing industry. Abundant hunting and fishing as well as low crime and minimal traffic are trademarks of the area.

The CNC programmer will utilize CAD/CAM software to develop programs to control contour-path machining of aluminum parts on CNC mill machining centers. Responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting design specifications, adjusting machine cutting paths, performing quality checks on final products. Must be able to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process, ensure conformance to established procedures and engineering specifications, and pay close attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
High Competence in Fields of CNC Machines, Tooling, and Programming
5 Years CNC Set-up and Programming Experience
Proficiency in Programming Software (Mastercam) and CAD.
Ability to Lift or Maneuver up to 50 lb.

Preferred:

Mastercam Certification
Vericut and autoCAD
Knowledge of FANUC Macro B Programming
Experience with 3,4, and 5-Axis Mills
CNC Porting Experience
General Troubleshooting and Maintenance of CNC Machines
