Our normal production quantities are from prototype to 100,000 pieces annually in all cold punching materials from .005 to .250 thick, including plastics. Tool Maker - HIRING 2 ASAP

If you are experienced in tool making (progressive, blank, compound, pierce, trim, cam, form, mandrel, etc.), are self-motivated, need to be challenged, and work well with others…this job is for you. Duties and Responsibilities

Guide / train apprentice tool makers
Repair, address, and/or delegate build or repair
Implement tooling and process improvements
Maintain a list of priorities and deliver based on need
Specify and order materials, maintain stock, etc
Guide design in tool layout and execution
Diagnose process flaws and outline correction
Assist in assembly and disassembly of tooling components according to engineering drawings and specifications
Operate and maintain various machinery such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines
Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of tooling components
Collaborate with team to develop and modify tooling designs using CAD software
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on tooling components as needed
Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Maintain documentation of tooling processes, modifications, and repairs

Education and Experience

5+ years of experience as a Tool Maker or in a similar or more senior role
Proficiency in CAD software for tooling design and modification
Strong knowledge of machining techniques and equipment operation, including milling machines, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines
Ability to interpret blueprint/engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T symbols
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers, designers, and other team members
