Responsibilities

Lead and supervise culinary teams across various departments, including kitchen staff and catering teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality food preparation that aligns with menu standards and customer expectations
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
Develop and implement menu planning strategies that highlight innovative dishes while maintaining cost control and profitability
Enforce strict food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations
Coordinate services, catering events, and fine dining experiences by supervising setup, service flow, and guest satisfaction
Oversee shift management duties such as scheduling staff rotations, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth daily operations
Maintain comprehensive records of food handling procedures, inventory levels, and sanitation audits to support operational transparency

Skills

Proven supervising experience managing diverse culinary teams in fast-paced environments
Expertise in food production, menu planning, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality settings with a focus on team management and staff development
Fine dining experience complemented by knowledge of catering services and restaurant management principles
Proficiency in inventory management, cost control measures, and food safety sanitizing procedures
Skilled in food handling practices with a thorough understanding of health regulations and sanitation standards
Experience in managing kitchen operations including shift management, food service coordination, and culinary innovation
Knowledge of the food industry trends related to catering, restaurant service, and culinary excellence
Ability to lead by example in serving guests with professionalism while maintaining high standards of hospitality
Bartending skills are a plus for overseeing beverage service during events or within restaurant settings
