Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring a Painter/Handyman for 1st shift.
Starting pay range of $20.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation, patching, sanding, priming, and finishing
- Touch up walls, floors, equipment, and designated areas throughout the facility to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Complete general handyman tasks such as minor repairs, fixture replacements, basic carpentry, and small improvement projects
- Repair or replace items such as doors, locks, trim, shelving, and other non-technical components
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely to complete elevated work assignments
- Follow all company safety procedures and ensure work areas remain safe and organized
- Identify and report larger or technical maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition
- Assist with facility organization and improvement initiatives as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in painting and general handyman work
- Proven knowledge of painting techniques, tools, materials, and surface preparation
- Experience performing a variety of general repair and improvement tasks
- Ability to safely operate a scissor lift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple small projects
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to facility upkeep
Physical Demand and Work Environment
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scissor lifts
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures

This role is not responsible for mechanical or technical maintenance of machinery but plays a key role in maintaining the facility’s appearance, safety, and overall condition.
