Full Job Description

Our client is a high-growth Denver-area roofing company searching for a great candidate to be their Production and Service Manager. This company prides themselves on quality roof construction and unmatched customer service. We are looking for an organized, team-oriented individual to assist our operations.

This position will manage residential and commercial production as well as repair and service work. Most of your time will be in our office, with some field time to be expected as-needed. Example duties include scheduling all installations and repairs, managing subcontractor relationships, manage service techs, creating work orders for multiple trades, professionally interacting with customers, managing labor and material budgets, estimating jobs/repairs, and ordering materials (among other duties). We are looking for someone who is process minded to keep our production running smooth.

We need a roofing pro with excellent computer skills, who is also detail oriented, organized, and dependable. This position requires you to be on call to manage scheduling and materials issues that often arise early morning or after hours for construction work. We have excellent management and office staff to provide support.

Prior roofing/construction experience and knowledge of all types of roof systems is required. Our ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects happening simultaneously across multiple different trades.

Requirements:

· Prior roofing production or sales experience is required, including residential and commercial installations, and management of service and repairs

· Working knowledge of all roofing types and installation/repair techniques (3 years preferred)

· JobNimbus (or other construction CRM) experience

· Experience managing multiple projects happening in the same day across multiple trades

· Experience reading and understanding insurance claim scopes, and the supplementing process

· Above-average professional communication skills

· Highly detail-oriented

· Committed to 5-star customer service (internal and external customers)

· Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required

Job Responsibilities:

Management of company CRM (JobNimbus). Keep all customers and files organized and keep company communication flowing
Management and responsibility of production/construction schedule. Know where work is being done and will be done based on company schedule/calendar. Keep track of crews and project managers daily
Manage roofing and other trade subcontractors and scheduling and work orders using company templates
Act as primary point of contact for certain repeat roof repair clients
Manage field supervisor and service technicians with top-notch leadership and accountability standards
Responsible for material ordering for projects – including roof repair and replacement projects
Manage subcontractor compliance with company insurance/paperwork requirements
In charge of maintaining and renewing company contractor licensing. Obtain licenses in new jurisdictions when needed
In charge of permitting process, including retrieving permits, ensuring ladders posted, scheduling inspections, pre-roof inspections, and interactions/questions with local building departments
Interact with customers to provide them professional updates regarding their roofing projects
Interact with suppliers and manufacturer representatives to ensure our understanding of different types of roofing materials and installation techniques
Manage quality control with checklists and photo documentation – utilizing company personnel and technology to ensure quality standards are met
Assist with documentation requirements for insurance claim projects, including subcontractor estimates, contract documents, reading insurance claim scopes, and inspection/repair photos
Occasional jobsite management for reroof jobs, including quality control, material running, ladder posting, etc.
May be asked to perform roof repair appointments to inspect, assess, and diagnose roofing issues at all types of roofs
Other duties as needed. We are a small, growing company seeking team players who are willing to take on tasks outside their job description when needed to keep us moving ahead.
