Full Job Description

Performance Design LLC manufactures paper punching and book binding equipment under the Rhin-O-Tuff brand. Since 1994, Rhin-O-Tuff has sold its equipment across the globe and earned a reputation as best in class amongst its customers due to product performance and reliability, customer service, and customer support.

Job Summary

The Assembler position is responsible for the construction of Rhin-O-Tuff book binding equipment. Assemblers use mechanical and technical skills with a focus on quality control during production. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate who would enjoy being exposed to and trained in many facets of our manufacturing operations over time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

· Reads and deciphers schematics and assembly instructions.

· Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.

· Conducts quality control checks.

· Resolves assembly problems by notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

· Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.

· Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

· Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply level

· Supports manufacturing by moving positions as needed
