Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Manager with a minimum of 2 years as a of a print shipping store, to lead our retail store operations with energy and enthusiasm. As the driving force behind the store’s success, you will oversee daily activities, manage a diverse team, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize sales, and maintain a vibrant shopping environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced retail setting.

Duties

Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling
Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture
Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling processes accurately and efficiently
Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize profitability
Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers and boost sales
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain excellent communication with clients and staff

Skills

Strong management skills with experience supervising teams in retail or service environments
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate staff and engage customers
Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, cash handling, and inventory management tools
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities effectively
Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and performance management
Sound knowledge of retail sales strategies, marketing techniques, and merchandising principles
Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Leadership qualities with experience in shift management, budgeting, and store operations oversight
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently
