Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity awaits for an experienced ultrasound professional skilled in general imaging. This contract position offers the chance to make a positive impact in a respected healthcare environment while delivering essential diagnostic services.

Schedule:

8:00am – 4:30pm

Qualifications:

Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification required
BLS certification required
ARRT credentialing preferred
Prior experience performing general ultrasound studies in a healthcare setting
Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality general ultrasound imaging studies, including OB/GYN and NT procedures, according to physician orders and established protocols
Accurately document findings and maintain thorough patient records
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes
Prepare, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment to the highest standards of safety and infection control
Provide clear instructions and compassionate care during patient procedures
Assist in scheduling and workflow optimization within the imaging department
