G.M. Roth Design Remodeling is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bathroom Designer to join our growing team in Nashua, New Hampshire.
This is an opportunity to design and sell premium residential kitchens and bathrooms while working alongside an experienced team of sales, design, estimating, and production professionals.

The Role
As a Kitchen & Bathroom Designer, you will work directly with homeowners to understand their needs, develop creative design solutions, guide product and material selections, and earn their commitment to move forward with the project.
You will be responsible for balancing aesthetics, functionality, budget, and constructability while helping clients feel confident throughout the design process.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trust and inspire confidence from the first client interaction
- Design and sell custom kitchens and bathrooms
- Meet with homeowners to understand their goals, lifestyle, functional needs, and design preferences
- Develop space plans, cabinetry layouts, and detailed design concepts
- Create renderings and construction-ready design documents using 2020 Design Flex or similar software
- Guide clients through cabinetry, countertop, fixture, finish, and material selections
- Prepare clear and complete selection packages
- Present design solutions and project recommendations
- Coordinate with internal teams, trade partners, and vendors
- Confirm design accuracy, product compatibility, and project feasibility
- Maintain organized project records and consistent client communication
- Support a smooth transition from design into estimating, sale, and production
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least five years of kitchen and bathroom design experience
- A strong portfolio of residential kitchen and bath projects
- Experience designing and selling projects in a client-facing environment
- Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling
- Proficiency with 2020 Design Flex, Revit, or comparable design software
- Strong space-planning, cabinetry-design, and product-selection skills
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- The ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and design decisions
- Knowledge of current kitchen and bathroom products, materials, and design trends
- A professional, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach
Experience in a design-build remodeling environment is strongly preferred.
NKBA credentials such as AKBD or CKBD, an architectural background, and a related bachelor’s degree are valuable but not required.

Total annual compensation is expected to range from $60,000 to $175,000+, depending on experience, sales performance, and results.
