Full Job Description

ACP Connections is looking for a strong Staff Accountant. This is a wonderful opportunity. Must have 4-year degree. This Staff Accountant role is onsite 4 days a week and work remote on Friday. This is a contract to hire situation. We are looking for strong Excel capabilities, someone who has worked with access and oracle.

Staff Accountant Main responsibilities

Analyze standard and customized reports for reasonableness and accuracy and make recommendations for action.
Book accruals and true ups of multiple high level processes and review for accuracy
Assist Inmar with escalated collection efforts and unapplied cash issues for problem carriers.
Support staff on issues requiring assistance as well as encourage other team-members and be a positive role model.
Complete balancing of daily sales, GL feeds and bank files as well as account reconciliations.
Process Journal Entries and perform AP processes as required.
Provide support to Internal Customers in issues or questions.
Support internal and external audit requests.
Coordinate high level projects as required.

Staff Accountant What we are searching for:

Strong knowledge of Reconciliation Process and accrual accounting
GAAP
Four-year college degree in accounting
Three or more years accounting experience in a large organization
Advanced level PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Access
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Self-motivated, and ability to make logical, rational decisions independently.
Ability to complete work with a minimum of supervision under rigid time constraints.
Good oral, written, mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to participate in team building and problem-solving sessions.
Ability to learn new technologies and business requirements.
Strong team building skills and ability to motivate team members.

Pay: $30.75 per hour
