Accounts Payable Specialist (Onsite)

Compensation: $22/hour (Contract to Hire)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking two highly detail-oriented and adaptable Accounts Payable Specialists to join our growing accounting team. They are looking for professionals who thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts payable experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to navigate a dynamic workplace where project priorities may shift frequently.

Key Responsibilities

Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Match invoices to purchase orders, inventory receipts, and procurement documentation.
Enter and maintain large volumes of financial data with a high degree of accuracy.
Research and resolve invoice, pricing, and payment discrepancies.
Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications

1+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
Strong understanding of:
- Accounts Payable processes
- Statement reconciliations
- Inventory processing
- Procurement and invoice matching
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- VLOOKUPs
- Pivot Tables
Experience working within an ERP system.
Exceptional data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
