Certified Payroll / Project Administrative Support (Part-Time)

Location: Chandler, AZ (East Valley)

Position Type: Part-Time

Pay: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Certified Payroll / Project Administrative Support professional to join their team on a part-time basis in Chandler (East Valley). This position is ideal for someone with Certified Payroll experience who enjoys supporting construction projects, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance documentation is accurate and organized.

The ideal candidate has experience working in the construction, industrial automation, manufacturing, or semiconductor industry and is comfortable communicating with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Please note: This position supports certified payroll processes and compliance documentation but is not responsible for independently processing certified payroll.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support Certified Payroll documentation and compliance activities

2. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams

3. Assist with subcontractor compliance documentation and recordkeeping

4. Maintain project files, spreadsheets, and tracking logs

5. Monitor project timelines and administrative milestones

6. Prepare project reports and status updates

7. Coordinate meetings and provide administrative support

8. Maintain organized electronic and paper records

9. Assist with onboarding and project support activities

10. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year of Certified Payroll experience or Certified Payroll compliance documentation (Required)

2. Previous experience in project administration, construction administration, or office support

3. Strong organizational and communication skills

4. Experience working with subcontractors and vendors preferred

5. Construction, semiconductor, industrial, engineering, or manufacturing experience preferred

6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word

7. Excellent attention to detail

8. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
