Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial sales and a deep understanding of FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and underwriting processes.

Compensation: 275+ BPS - SET YOUR OWN COMPENSATION PLAN.

Duties

Manage the loan origination process from application to closing, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed guidance to clients.
Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to facilitate smooth transactions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources.
Utilize basic math skills for calculating loan amounts, interest rates, and payment schedules.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state lending regulations throughout the loan process.
Provide training and mentorship to junior loan officers as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial sales role is required.
Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and TILA regulations is essential.
Strong understanding of underwriting procedures and loan processing workflows.
Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
Basic math skills are necessary for effective calculations related to loans.
