Full Job Description

Independent Pharmacy under new management is currently seeking for a Pharmacist in Charge with a passion for reforming healthcare to join our team.

The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for adherence of day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and provides direction to the pharmacy staff. Verify prescription medications prior to dispensing them from the pharmacy, including unit dose and compounding. Adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures, and completes all clinical and compliance related tasks effectively and accurately.

This position provides patient care, Medication Therapy Management, administration of testing and/or immunizations when applicable, patient counseling, and proper recordkeeping and documentation. This position is also responsible for interaction with other healthcare professionals, excellent delivery and oversight of customer service, and handling tasks such as revenue growth, inventory tracking, and employee staffing.

Maintain all proper confidentiality of information, HIPAA standards, legal policies, procedure, regulations and monitoring of all loss prevention and safety.
