Lincoln Health Supply is a fast-growing, direct-to-home durable medical equipment (DME) company based in North Bay Village, FL. We specialize in providing patients with high-quality medical supplies including continuous glucose monitors (CGM), lymphedema garments, orthotic braces, and more — shipped directly to their door. We work closely with healthcare providers, physicians' offices, and insurance companies across the country to make sure every patient gets the care they deserve.

About the Role

This is not a sit-back-and-answer-phones type of job. Our front desk is the heartbeat of our operation, and we need someone who can keep up. You will be hands-on with everything — from welcoming patients and managing high call volumes to verifying insurance benefits and supporting our billing and fulfillment teams. Every single day will be busy, and we need someone who not only handles that well but actually enjoys it.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for patients and referring providers — in person and by phone
Answer and manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a professional, friendly manner
Perform thorough insurance verification including eligibility, benefits, deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-network coverage across multiple payers including Medicare and PPO plans
Accurately enter and maintain patient information, orders, and records in our system with strong attention to detail
Process incoming faxes, physician referrals, prescriptions, and prior authorization requests
Coordinate with billing, clinical, and fulfillment teams to ensure seamless order processing from start to finish
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and tracking logs using Microsoft Excel
Draft and send professional correspondence via email to patients, providers, and insurance companies
Assist with general administrative tasks and front office operations as needed
Keep the front desk environment clean, organized, and running efficiently from open to close

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of front desk experience at a fast-paced medical office, clinic, or DME company — this is a firm requirement and non-negotiable
Solid understanding of insurance verification, eligibility, and benefits — particularly Medicare and PPO plans with out-of-network benefits
Proficient typist — fast and accurate data entry is essential in this role
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with EMR or practice management software preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing attention to detail
Comfortable working at a fast pace for a full 8-hour shift every day
Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred — South Florida patient population requires it
Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player

Preferred

Previous Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience.
Experience using EMR or practice management software.
Previous sales, inside sales, patient intake, or call center experience is a significant plus. Candidates who are confident speaking with patients, building rapport, and helping guide them through the ordering process are strongly encouraged to apply.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
