Full Job Description

I'm a full-time content creator and entrepreneur based in Miami looking for a highly organized, proactive Travel Content & Personal Assistant to work closely with me both at home and while traveling.

This is a unique, hands-on role combining content creation, social media management, travel assistance, and personal/executive assistant responsibilities. I travel frequently—potentially 3–6 months total throughout the year—so I’m specifically looking for someone who is genuinely excited by travel and has the flexibility to accompany me on domestic and international trips, including occasional trips lasting several weeks.

When we’re in Miami, the position will be a combination of remote work and approximately 1–2 in-person content days per week. During travel, the role becomes much more hands-on and will involve accompanying me throughout activities and capturing both planned and organic lifestyle content.

Responsibilities

Content & Social Media

Film short-form and long-form content using an iPhone/camera
Capture candid and lifestyle content throughout daily activities, travel, dinners, events, excursions, etc.
Assist with planning and executing content days
Manage and post across multiple social media accounts
Schedule content and maintain posting calendars
Organize photos, videos and other content assets
Coordinate with editors and other members of my team when necessary
Research content ideas, trends, locations and opportunities
Help make sure content is captured while traveling without me having to constantly think about it

Personal & Executive Assistance

Research and make reservations
Assist with travel planning and logistics
Handle errands and miscellaneous personal tasks
Research products, services, locations and activities
Coordinate appointments and schedules
Follow up with vendors/team members
Keep track of outstanding tasks and make sure they are actually completed
Help solve small problems independently rather than waiting for direction on every step
Anticipate needs and take initiative when something clearly needs to be handled

Travel

Travel is a major component of this position, not an occasional perk.

I typically travel for approximately 3–6 months throughout the year, which can include both shorter trips and periods of several weeks away at a time.

The ideal candidate should:

Be genuinely excited to travel frequently
Have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
Have the personal flexibility to be away from Miami for extended periods
Be comfortable with changing schedules while traveling
Enjoy participating in activities and experiences while capturing content
Be comfortable working in environments such as boats, restaurants, events, sightseeing activities, hotels, nightlife, etc.

Travel accommodations will be provided, including your own hotel room or separate accommodations, and work-related travel expenses will be covered.

Who I'm Looking For:

The biggest thing I’m looking for is initiative and follow-through.

I want someone who can be given a responsibility and take ownership of it from beginning to end without needing repeated reminders. You should naturally communicate updates, ask questions when necessary, look for answers before escalating small issues, and close the loop on tasks.

Previous experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, content assistant, social media manager, creator assistant, or similar role is preferred.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, but it is not a traditional 9–5.

When in Miami, much of the administrative/social media work can be completed remotely, with approximately 1–2 in-person content days per week.

Travel periods will require significantly more flexibility, as content is often captured organically throughout the day.

Compensation

$5,000–$6,000/month

Travel accommodations and work-related travel expenses are covered separately.
