Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dynamic team player to support clients through the process of planning the design for their events - this includes managing timely client communication through the entire process and ensuring that installation of said décor is according to specifications agreed upon. Most successful candidates in this position are team players with strong people skills, a great eye for design and details, and a desire to propel their career growth by being a part of a rapidly expanding company. This position requires you to be professional, timely, high-energy, enthusiastic about events, and consistently dependable.

Your day-to-day will include:

Meetings with clients and writing proposals

Coordinating production of events with all internal & external departments

Overseeing the successful execution of events, including installation & strike of all elements

Requirements:

Develop and secure future business for Gilded Group Décor and/or Gilded Kidz.
Promote our design services through meetings and networking with planners, special event venues and vendor partners.
Prepare proposals and presentations, while ensuring proper costing standards.
Send and ensure the client’s receipt of proposals in a timely fashion.
Follow up with clients to ensure a clear and concise understanding of proposals.
Ensure approvals are obtained from clients of all elements from budgets to design mockups.
Conduct site visits to evaluate event needs based on venue specifications.
Coordinate production of all event elements sold, to include print, floral, carpentry, upholstery within proper budget guidelines.
Coordinate purchases and securing of subcontractors in a timely manner and within proper budget guidelines.
Orchestrate the installation of events to ensure the client’s vision is delivered according to the proposal and within company guidelines of safety and excellence.
Conduct post event follow up to ensure client satisfaction and event success.
Ensure client billing is accurate and presented in a timely manner for full payment collection prior to event execution.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers.

Excited about working in an event design studio with uber creative projects, team, and clients
Must love dogs!

Education/Experience:

College degree or 5+ experience in same field required.
Minimum two years of experience in sales for special events.
Knowledge of events business, specifically sales, and/or event design.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
