Location: South Florida (Broward / Palm Beach / Miami-Dade)

Qualifications:

3–5+ years managing high-end custom home projects in South Florida.
Extremely organized, process-oriented, and detail-focused.
Hands-on experience with estimating, bidding, and contracting luxury projects.
Strong knowledge of scheduling, permitting, and construction processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Proficient in project management tools (Buildertrend, Procore, OneNote, or similar).
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
Commitment to delivering exceptional quality and client satisfaction.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Custom Home Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of custom home projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project coordination, with expertise in utilizing various construction management software. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Custom Home Project Manager will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Lead all phases of custom home construction, from pre-construction through close-out.
Prepare, review, and manage estimates, bids, and contracts with accuracy and attention to detail.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including micro-scheduling for trades, inspections, and deliveries.
Manage permitting processes with local municipalities.
Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure plans are executed exactly as designed.
Track budgets, costs, and change orders; maintain organized financial documentation.
Maintain thorough project documentation: RFIs, submittals, daily logs, punch lists, and meeting notes.
Conduct site inspections to maintain quality, safety, and adherence to project plans.
Mentor assistant project managers or coordinators in Landmark’s systems and processes.
Identify risks, proactively address issues, and ensure timely problem resolution.
Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Implement project management best practices for efficient workflow.
Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction management or project management within the custom home building sector.
Proficiency in construction estimating tools and software including Civil 3D, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and site experience.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and methodologies is essential.
