This position is a unique opportunity to join an active, entrepreneurial, and high-energy asset management team. The ideal candidate will be an organized and motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of the business through involvement in asset management, dispositions, and corporate responsibilities for a large portfolio that includes over 60,000 units across the country.
With the support and guidance of the entire TruAmerica team, the Asset Management Analyst, Intern, will assist the Asset Management team in the following ways:

Assist with the annual budgeting process, including communicating with third-party tax and insurance consultants.

Collaborate with portfolio management, construction management, and third-party property management companies.

Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports and participate in the research, design, and creation of new reports as needed.

Assist with Asset Management reporting and monitoring business plan performance.
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program with an emphasis in Finance, Business, and/or Real Estate preferred.

The ideal candidate will have prior business experience at a real estate investment firm, commercial mortgage banking firm, financial institution, or accounting firm. Candidates with strong backgrounds in other areas will also be considered.

Strong judgment and the ability to meet targets under pressure while ensuring successful project completion.

Excellent multitasking ability and strong attention to detail to maintain accuracy of project deliverables.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Highly organized self-starter with the ability to take direction and follow through on tasks to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Previous exposure to real estate analytics and business intelligence platforms is a plus.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and adaptability.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.
