Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented individual with the ability to multi-task while providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience with adaptability and be comfortable in a fast paced environment. This position will be a central position in our Jewelry Loan department. Our mission is to provide the best pawnbroking experience to everyone who connects with us and we are looking for a new team member who can demonstrate that statement. Working for American Jewelry and Loan is an excellent opportunity for growth, to have FUN at work and expand your knowledge in the pawnbroking industry!

Duties include:

Jewelry evaluation
Loan processing
Data entry
Cash transactions
Friendly customer support - in person and over the phone
Light cleaning

Requirements

Must have general computer skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be authorized to work in U.S.
Organized, with attention to detail
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to multitask and be detail oriented
Customer service experience a plus, but not required – ability to SMILE is a good start
Basic math is needed - such as addition, subtraction, etc
Ability and willingness to learn jewelry evaluation
Resume must show a stable work experience
Willing to undergo background check
Bi-Lingual
