Dining Room Manager

W Club | Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Salary: $65,000- $75,000 annually

W Club, one of Metro Detroit's premier private clubs, is seeking an experienced Dining Room Manager to lead and deliver an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.

This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in an upscale service environment and enjoys leading by example. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to develop and inspire a talented team. Fine dining experience is required, and private club experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily dining room operations, ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently achieved.
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop front-of-house staff through hands-on leadership and ongoing training.
Conduct pre-shift lineups to communicate daily priorities, menu features, reservations, and service expectations.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure seamless execution of service.
Develop staff schedules while effectively managing labor costs and operational efficiency.
Build a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.
Address member requests and concerns promptly with professionalism and discretion.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, appearance, and service throughout all dining venues.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and service standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or an upscale restaurant environment.
Private club experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain high-performing service teams.
Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and elevated dining service.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events as required.

Competitive annual salary of $65,000-$75,000
