Experience and Requirements

Experience as a DCW Worker
Experience in personal care or geri-care/ hospital rehabilitation facilities
Experience in memory or hospice care settings
Experience with individuals with complex behavioral needs
Required: Ability to commute through out Genesee County or to/from assignments.
Experience with individuals with complex behavioral needs

Skills

Strong communication
Ability build rapport with clients
Charting/ Monitoring clients precisely
Bedside manners
Procedural knowledge of ADLs
CPR Certification (Required)
A recent TB Test or Screener Result (Preferred)
Heavy lifting/ mobility assistance/ Hoyer Operation

Job Responsibilities

Case assignments are catered to the needs of the client and capabilities of the provider, are subject to change accordingly.

Transferring (With gait belt, sliding board, or hoyer lift)
