Full Job Description

Beztak Senior Living wants you to join our family of talented individuals. We are seeking to hire bright, dynamic leaders who have a passion for service and a commitment to excellence! At Beztak, we love what we do, and it shows. Our team of caring professionals work together to make our senior residents feel at home in our communities.

Beztak is looking to hire a Housekeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for cleanliness in all aspects of the community, including resident units and common areas

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for providing a beautiful, clean, and sanitary environment for all areas of the community
Assists with tasks to provide high levels of resident satisfaction; such as laundry or other tasks which may be assigned
Ensures proper use and care of all equipment to maintain cleanliness and a well-maintained community
Must be able to identify and then either correct or report safety hazards
Reports supply and equipment needs to supervisor before replenishing
Work in a high-pressure environment, interacting with challenging residents and vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, exhibiting effective interpersonal skills
Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

Have a caring and positive demeanor when interacting with residents and family members
Excellent time management skills
Ability to identify issues before they occur

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

One-year experience in the professional cleaning industry
Exceptional customer service skills

BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS:

Beztak and All Seasons complete pre-employment testing in accordance with company policies and all state-requirements. This includes criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable) and drug testing.

Arizona applicants will need to obtain a fingerprint clearance card, TB test and clear the Adult Protective Services registry.

Michigan applicants will need to take a TB test and complete fingerprinting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires frequent Sitting, standing, walking, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, climbing stairs, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position typically operates indoors with frequent exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals.
Occasional exposure to blood borne pathogens or other potentially infectious material.
