Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile front office staff member to join our dynamic out-patient orthopedic clinic. We take pride in our ability to provide the highest level of personable care and superior customer service.

Job Duties:

Greet clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls promptly
Schedule appointments and manage calendars as assigned
Assist with check-in for scheduled appointments
Collect co-payments at time of service, and patient payments (via credit card, cash, or check)
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records. File, scan, and organize documents (physical and digital)
Prepare intake forms for new and returning patients
Wash, dry, fold laundry
Use office software (email, scheduling tools, spreadsheets, databases)
Assist staff with administrative tasks as needed
Take accurate messages and relay them to appropriate staff
Respond to general inquiries in person, by phone, or via email

Job Requirements:

Medical office administration experience preferred
Exceptional phone skills when talking with patients, doctors offices, etc.
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer and software skills
Ability to multitask well
Detail-oriented, thorough, and ability to problem-solve
Reliable, flexible, and timely
Team player with a positive attitude

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
