Full Job Description

Full-Time
Pediatric Office is looking for a receptionist for a busy pediatric office.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Create a customer-friendly environment
Answer phones, referring calls to physicians
Retrieve messages from voice mail and greet patients.
Schedule/cancel patient appointments
Verify demographics and insurance information
Register and check out all patients
Collect co-payment; print receipt as needed (post charges and payments – if needed)
Reconcile money collected and charges at the end of each shift
Address all emergency referrals
Confirm appointment schedule
File and/or upload letters, reports, doctor notes, and triage notes
Print daily appointment lists
Maintain supplies of all forms and office material
Maintain waiting room, magazines, and toys for a generally tidy appearance
Miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as requested

Job Requirements:

1+ years of Front Desk experience in a (Pediatric environment)
1+ years of Customer Service experience
1+ years of Insurance billing experience
1+ years of medical electronic records experience
Driver's license and reliable transportation available
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday from 10am-6pm
