Overview:

Behavioral Health Director of Nursing - Permian Basin Behavioral Health, Midland, TX

Signet Health, a national behavioral health management company, is currently recruiting for an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for our adult inpatient unit at our NEW state-of-the-art, freestanding psychiatric hospital located in Midland, TX. Be part of something new from the ground floor!

The DON is an active member of the leadership/management team and is responsible for nursing services for the adult inpatient behavioral health programs. The DON works collaboratively with the leadership team to assure the highest level of patient safety and treatment possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Responsible for creating and supporting patient - first culture that fosters a high level of patient satisfaction as demonstrated by outcomes data.

Supports, designs, and monitors the development and implementation of patient and employee safety initiatives.

COMPETENCIES:

Negotiates effectively, persuades, and articulates issues and ideas to others within the hospital.

Requires considerable judgment regarding the interpretation of policies, development of procedures and selection of appropriate courses of action as assignments are generally received in the form of broad goals for the department.

Requirements/Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Texas
5+ years of behavioral health nursing management experience required
