Job Summary

The Admissions Tele Counselor will call prospective students on behalf of Georgia College Admissions for the purpose of congratulating them on their acceptance to Georgia College and State University. They will also notify prospective students of any visitation events and any outstanding items needed to complete their application.

Responsibilities

Acceptance Calls - 45%
Conduct outbound congratulatory calls to newly accepted prospective students on behalf of Georgia College Admissions to welcome them.

Notify Prospective Students - 45%

Inform prospective students of upcoming visitation events, campus tours, and other engagement opportunities to encourage enrollment and participation.

Communicate any missing or outstanding application materials and assist students in understanding the steps needed to complete their admissions file.

Other - 10%
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Current enrollment as a student at the institution; at least half-time status, which is 6 credit hours

Ability to work a flexible schedule around class commitments

Proposed Salary

$10.00 / hour.
