Day to day as a Part-Time X-Ray Assistant

As a Part-Time X-Ray Assistant at Missoula BoneJoint LLC, your daily responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring smooth clinic operations. Expect to receive and processing incoming X-ray orders, preparing and transporting patients for radiologic procedures, and coordinating imaging requests by phone, including sending, mailing, importing, and transferring images as needed. Maintains compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Red Flag Rules, participates in continuing education and shares knowledge with staff, and performs other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor.

This position is 15.5 hours/week with a working schedule of Monday's 8:30am - 5:00pm and Wednesday's 8:30am - 4:30pm providing consistent support to both patients and staff.

Attention to detail is essential, as you will be tracking patient information and ensuring compliance with safety and privacy regulations. Furthermore, you'll collaborate with team members to identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts, contributing to an overall positive patient experience.
