Events & Marketing Manager

Job Summary

Thingz From Yaad is looking for a creative, organized, and people-oriented Events & Marketing Manager to help bring our brand to life. This role is responsible for planning and promoting events, growing our presence in the community, managing social media and marketing initiatives, and creating memorable guest experiences that keep people coming back.

We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys building relationships, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed. Whether it’s coordinating a live music event, promoting a new menu item, working with local organizations, or helping execute a catering event, you’ll play a key role in sharing our culture and growing the Thingz From Yaad brand.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute restaurant events, private parties, pop-up events, catering events, and community partnerships.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive restaurant traffic.
Create and manage engaging social media content across multiple platforms, including photos, videos, graphics, and event promotions.
Coordinate entertainment, vendors, décor, rentals, and event logistics from planning through execution.
Assist in growing the restaurant’s catering business through networking, outreach, and relationship building.
Build partnerships with local businesses, organizations, influencers, and community groups.
Manage event budgets while maintaining quality and profitability.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
Work closely with ownership and management to develop seasonal promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives.
Ensure every event delivers an exceptional guest experience that reflects the Thingz From Yaad brand and values.
Monitor event attendance, marketing performance, and guest feedback to continuously improve future events.
Maintain organized event calendars, vendor contacts, contracts, promotional materials, and marketing assets.
Occasionally assist during events to ensure operations run smoothly and guests receive excellent service.

Qualifications

Experience in event planning, marketing, hospitality, restaurant management, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as events require.
Experience with photography, graphic design, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing is a plus.
Knowledge of catering, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating with the management team.
Passion for creating memorable guest experiences and representing the Thingz From Yaad brand within the community.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
