Full Job Description

This position is customer service oriented and involves the organization, training and oversight of all skiing and snowboarding lessons at Crystal Ridge Ski Area in Franklin, WI (https://crystalridge.com/). The ideal candidate will be a passionate skier or snowboarder that has prior knowledge about teaching with experience of managing all age groups. This position does not require advanced level skiing or snowboarding, but does require prior skiing/snowboarding knowledge which may include PSIA/AASI membership or certification. We are willing to mentor the right individual as this role is mainly an administrative position with on-hill knowledge being trained. The snow school manager will lead a team of 50-70 instructors to provide quality lessons and instruction to thousands of participants each season. We are in the business of creating new skiers and snowboarders and teaching them a life long sport. Snow school plays a huge role in our winter operations.

This is a full time, seasonal position. Full time work typically begins mid October and ends mid to late March. The manager is expected to be on site before, during and sometimes after operating hours. Nights, weekends, and holidays (when open) are required. Possible full time year round work available with our growing summer event business. The Crystal Ridge snow school has had tremendous growth over the past years and we are looking for an individual who is ready to take on this part of our business and really make it thrive. Teaching people the life long sport of skiing and snowboarding is a core value to our business and it can all start by having a positive lesson experience.

Candidates must:

be organized & detail-oriented
have some background or familiarity with snow sports
be proficient with a computer/technology
have experience with Google Suite
be a quick thinker & problem solver

Snow school programs are extremely important. They can create life-long riders and YOU can be the reason they take a lesson!

Must be 21yr+. FREE skiing, boarding, and tubing for you and your friends/family. Food, merchandise and industry discounts. Work in a FUN upbeat environment where no two days are the same!

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
