Join Our Award-Winning Team as a mostly remote Bilingual HR Generalist with casual hours!

Are you ready to make a real impact in an established but growing company? Recently honored as a "Best Place to Work in Manufacturing," we are seeking a part-time bilingual (Spanish/English) Human Resources Generalist to support our growing material handling business as we build out a new facility in Franklin, Wisconsin. The mostly remote HR Generalist will join the HR team and support day-to-day human resources operations for all of our facilities with a strong initial focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. The role is ideal for an HR professional who values a flexible schedule (10-15 hours per week), enjoys variety, and is comfortable balancing remote work with occasional on-site office hours.

Key Responsibilities

Resume screening and candidate shortlisting
Conducting initial interviews (phone, video)
Coordinating interviews with hiring managers
Managing candidate communication and ensuring a positive candidate experience
New hire orientations and onboarding aid
Conducting stay interviews to support retention efforts
Conducting exit interviews and documenting insights
Supporting FMLA, short-term disability, and workers' compensation claim coordination
Assisting with training coordination and scheduling
Helping drive on-site culture initiatives, engagement activities, and communication efforts
Holding weekly office hours on site (day and time flexible) for employee support, interviews, and culture-building presence
Providing interpretation and translation services (Spanish and English) to ease cross-cultural communication

Requirements and Skills

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred
2-5 years of HR experience in a generalist role
Strong people skills and comfort interacting with employees at all levels
Ability to work independently, manage variable weekly hours, and adapt to shifting priorities
Familiarity with basic employment law
Bilingual (Spanish and English)

Work Environment and Schedule

Mostly remote work
Occasional on-site presence required
Weekly hours will vary depending on recruiting volume and HR needs
Infrequent (maybe twice a year) travel to other locations (PA, NV)

Pay: $35.00 per hour
