Minneapolis, Minnesota

$120,000 - $130,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Long-Term Career Progression

Are you a Cost Estimator from a general contracting background, looking to join a rapidly growing business offering real ownership, progression, and long-term opportunity?

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the estimating function within a busy construction environment, getting involved at the very start of the process to produce accurate, competitive cost estimates and staying involved right through to delivery. You will play a key role in pricing work, managing the bid process, and supporting the wider team to win and successfully deliver profitable projects.

The company has a strong and secure pipeline of work and is continuing to expand its pre-construction team. This role offers clear progression into senior estimating and leadership positions as this rapidly expanding business continues to grow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an autonomous role with growth potential, where you can play a pivotal role in the future successes of a rapidly growing company.

The Role:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive bids from the earliest stage of each project
Perform quantity take-offs, review drawings and specifications, and develop accurate scopes of work
Solicit, analyse, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
Stay involved through delivery, tracking costs against estimates and supporting the project team to protect margin
Collaborate with project managers, operations, and leadership to ensure projects are won and delivered profitably

The Person:

Experience as a Cost Estimator within a general contractor environment
Strong understanding of construction methods, quantity take-offs, and cost analysis
Confident using estimating and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar
Able to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and stakeholders and drive the estimating process forward autonomously
