Full Job Description

Job Summary: Off-site location client relations and supply chain management to ensure the seamless flow of materials and supplies required for daily operations. Managing inventory and maintaining accurate records. Ensure the timely delivery of products and address any supply chain issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Off-Site Coordination:
Collaborate with off-site Food Service Managers/Kitchen Managers to meet product needs on time.
Collect meal counts and necessary supplies for off-site locations, creating and verifying shopping lists.
Split orders for each site based on procurement channels and document weekly orders.
Ensure timely order placement with distributors for off-site deliveries.
Work with procurement manager, warehouse coordinator, and delivery team to plan and deliver products from the main commissary to off-sites.
Address changes in client requests or supply-chain issues with relevant teams and vendors.
Monthly visit and audit off-site locations for inventory quality and safety.
Monitor and analyze the flow of orders, meals prepared, meals served, and reports waste generated to ensure efficient kitchen operations and minimize food waste.
Submit monthly inventory tracking sheets from off-sites to the Inventory Analyst.
During business switchovers, track remaining inventory and take steps to utilize products efficiently.
Track and document order processing issues and use data for discussions with the procurement manager.
Collaborate on projects related to direct shipments and commodity purchases.
Perform special tasks and projects as needed.
Inventory and Record Keeping:
Enter order information into computer systems.
Maintain accurate sales records and address any arising issues.
Follow up on shortages, vendor returns, damaged items, and discrepancies, maintaining related documentation.
Policy and Procedure Adherence:
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a focus on health and safety.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior purchasing experience required.

Language Ability: Must be a skillful communicator and capable leader who can recognize, respect and retain the talent within the organization, while helping to guide the leadership team to reach its full potential through support and mentorship. Must have the ability to deliver written and oral communications to large and small groups.

Math Ability: Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and glean insights to proactively drive strategic business decisions. Must possess a working knowledge of data analytics and financial/operational metrics.

Reasoning Ability: Results-driven with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Adept at transitioning seamlessly from a strategic level vision to day-to-day tactical operations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Experience with inventory management software, such as Orca, Wasp, or other like products.
