Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our financial services team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing comprehensive banking solutions and exceptional service. This position is also responsible for maintaining up-to-date Retail Banking policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to retail bankers, officers, and other departments of the Bank.
Responsible for all new account file maintenance and all closed account file maintenance.
Monitors EFT reports daily to ensure correct ordering and maintenance of debit cards.
Assist with correspondence and follow-up for past due DDA, SAV, DDL, and LAS accounts.
Assist the Chief Financial Officer, President, all Bank Officers, and other departments in data gathering or other duties as assigned by them.
Responsible for retail products such as checking, savings, certificates of deposit, safe deposit box, credit cards, and IRA's, customer transactions, or any other account servicing determined by Retail Banking Officer.
Assists in various administrative support functions for Retail Banking Officer including written communications, telephone and voicemail coverage, fax and email handling, supply control, internal and external communications, and misc. projects.
Responsible for maintaining all customer, employee, and Bank matters in a confidential manner.
Responsible for following all Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to dual control and security and regulatory guidelines.
Responsible for misc. filing and clerical duties. Provides basic loan support including bookkeeping and typing, preparing correspondence, faxing, and retrieving reports.
Assists Bank auditor, credit department, and other sources as needed regarding file information and/or loan accounting information.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication and business writing skills.
Knowledge of retail banking products and services.
Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computer systems, Microsoft Office, and banking software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Cash handling or banking/customer service experience preferred.
Additional training as required by management.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Regularly sit, stand, walk, type, talk, hear, and see.
Use hands and arms to handle objects and operate equipment.
Lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to manage stress, meet deadlines, and make sound decisions.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
