Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Tax Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate who is interested in building a career in taxation and accounting. The ideal candidate is committed to professional development, enjoys working with clients, and is willing to pursue the Enrolled Agent (EA) credential.

As an Entry-Level Tax Associate, you will assist in preparing individual and business tax returns, support client communications, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual and business tax returns under supervision.
Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information and tax documents.
Communicate professionally with clients to obtain necessary tax information and answer basic questions.
Assist with tax planning and compliance projects.
Maintain accurate and organized client records.
Research basic tax issues and stay current on tax laws and regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of client engagements.
Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive client experience.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred).
Demonstrated willingness to sit for and obtain the Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working effectively in a team environment.
Customer service experience in a professional, retail, hospitality, or related setting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred

Prior internship, part-time, or volunteer experience in accounting, tax, finance, or a customer-focused role.
Basic understanding of federal and state tax principles.
Experience using tax preparation or accounting software.
