Job Summary
Siwek Lumber is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lumberyard Warehouse Associate to join our team. We are a leading supplier of building materials for contractors and DIY enthusiasts in Jordan and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of our product lines and a commitment to safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations.

Position Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties within our warehouse and lumberyard. Your expertise will be critical in handling specialized products, including moldings, trims, windows, doors, sheet goods, and hardware, to ensure our customers receive the correct and highest-quality materials for their projects.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in the warehouse and yard.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery, with a focus on specialized products such as windows, doors, moldings, and trims.
Product Handling: Safely load and unload materials from vendor trucks and customer vehicles using a forklift and other material handling equipment.
Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing all incoming inventory, performing cycle counts, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
Product Expertise: Use your in-depth knowledge to identify and correctly handle a variety of products, including:
Molding and Trims: Handling fragile and pre-finished decorative pieces.
Windows and Doors: Safely managing large, heavy, and delicate units.
Sheet Goods: Handling and organizing sheetrock, plywood, and other panel products.
Hardware: Maintaining organized inventory of fasteners, tools, and accessories.
Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard, operate all equipment in a safe manner, and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Requirements

Proven experience working in a lumberyard, warehouse, or building materials environment.
Extensive product knowledge of moldings, trims, windows, doors, sheet goods, and hardware is essential.
Proven experience operating a forklift and other heavy equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in fulfilling orders.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 80 pounds) and work in various weather conditions
