Full Job Description

Oakdale ObGyn and OBGYN West, through Premier Women's Health of Minnesota, are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our successful and growing physical therapy program. The ideal candidate would have clinical experience, with a focus on pelvic floor/women's health.

We are looking to add to the team as soon as possible, once the required credentialing process has been completed. Clinic locations may include: Minnetonka, Plymouth and Eden Prairie.

A $5,000 signing bonus will be payable upon successful completion of 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities:

Manage patient caseload of pelvic health conditions; pre-natal, post partum, incontinence, pelvic pain, endometriosis, constipation, and prolapse.
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Educate patients on their specific plan of care in order to reach desired goals and outcomes.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals within clinic setting.
Communicate with provider team as needed.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Skills and Ability Requirements:

Compassion and empathy for patients, who are often in pain.
Comfort with sensitive patient populations.
Excellent communication and patient rapport.
Specialized pelvic floor assessment and treatment skills.
Attention to detail in order to analyze patient needs and communicate effective treatment plans.
Physical stamina to lift patients, spend long hours standing and demonstrating exercises.
Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and co-workers.

Qualifications:

Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Physical Therapy license in Minnesota.
1+ years of experience with Women's Health/pelvic health required, with successful completion of Herman and Wallace Level 1 (or equivalent program).

Pay: $38.84 - $59.06 per hour
