Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and therapeutic services to individuals and families, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and achieve their personal goals. This role requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Duties

Conduct individual and family counseling sessions to address clients' emotional and psychological needs.
Provide direct support through behavioral therapy, ensuring that each client receives personalized care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
Engage in case management to coordinate care plans that align with clients' treatment goals.
Implement crisis management techniques when necessary to ensure client safety.
Facilitate 1-2 groups per week
Complete all documentation.
Participate in the clinical on-call rotation

Requirements:

Associate AMFT/ACSW/APCC or LMFT/LCSW/LPCC in California
Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check and clear federal and state criminal background checks, and child abuse indexes.
