Full Job Description

Position Title: LPN Clinic Nurse

Hours: Rotating Schedule

Pay Rate: $37.15/hr

Location: Onsite –Overland Park, KS 66204

Requirements:

· 1+ years LVN experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

· Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record

· Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws and perform Point of Care Testing

· Experience Administering Vaccines

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

· Active LVN/LPN License

Job Description:

The LPN/LVN provides direct patient-care and clinical support in a retail healthcare setting. The role works alongside nurse practitioners, physician associates, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Assist providers during patient visits and clinical procedures.
Perform injections, immunizations, and other nursing treatments within the scope of the LPN/LVN license.
Collect and process specimens and perform point-of-care testing as permitted.
Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, preventive care, and follow-up.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Follow infection-control, safety, and quality standards.
Assist with clinic workflow, patient flow, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
Recognize changes in a patient's condition and appropriately notify the provider.
