Assistant General Manager – Club Pilates Lake St. Louis

Full-Time | On Site | Sister Studio to Club Pilates Wentzville

Owned locally, our Lake St Louis studio is a warm, community-focused boutique Pilates environment where members and staff feel like family. We are seeking a highly motivated, people-centered Assistant General Manager to help lead the Lake St Louis studio’s daily operations, sales performance, and team culture.

Our studio is part of this nationwide brand—but distinctly local, approachable, and community-driven under our ownership.

Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager will assist the general manager oversee and execute all studio operations, including membership sales, retail sales, staff management, instructor oversight, scheduling, social media, customer experience, and community engagement. This role serves as a team leader and culture-setter for the Lake St Louis studio while collaborating closely with the owners, studio general manager and with the Wentzville sister location.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves fitness, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by sales success and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Operations & Leadership

Assist and lead the daily operations of the studio and ensure high standards in professionalism, cleanliness, hospitality, and customer care.
Maintain a strong, positive, and high-accountability studio culture.
Help manage studio schedules for front desk associated and instructors.
Help with retail product management and vendor relations as needed.
Ensure all Club Pilates policies, procedures, and brand standards are followed.
Handle high-level customer service decisions with good judgment and professionalism.

Sales & Revenue Management

Drive performance across four revenue streams:

1) Memberships 2) Retail 3) Private Training 4) Teacher Training

Execute the studio sales process including lead follow-up, phone calls, text/email outreach, and in-studio consultation.
Coach, train, and supervise sales representatives to meet and exceed targets.
Help with monitoring KPIs, sales funnels, and studio performance through ClubReady.
Collect overdue membership dues when necessary.
Help with Wentzville studio sales/support as needed.

Team Leadership & Staffing

Be a leader, guide and coach in the studio front desk team.
Conduct regular performance check-ins, give feedback, and maintain an environment of growth and support.
Help ensure consistent studio and class quality.
Coordinate closely with the Wentzville studio leadership to share insights, staffing support, and standards.

Marketing & Community Engagement

Attend/initiate grassroots marketing, networking, and community outreach in Lake St Louis to increase brand visibility.
Represent the studio at local events, neighborhood activities, and business partnerships.
Help develop and execute local marketing strategies to generate leads and build the studio’s presence.
Ensure the studio is always well-stocked with marketing materials and literature.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of retail, service, or fitness sales experience.
Proven ability to generate personal sales and coach sales teams.
Strong communication—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Comfortable working in a changing, diverse, high-energy environment.
Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping clients improve their lives.
Strong computer proficiency; ClubReady experience a plus.
Professional, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy with confidential information.
