A Day In The Life

As a Cellular Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality products by operating and maintaining a variety of machines and equipment. This position requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Cellular Operator Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment such as flame cutters, punch presses, drill presses, forklifts, cranes, CNC machines, band saws, grinders, and other departmental tools
Perform processes including inspecting, measuring, flame cutting, programming, forming, bending, blasting, drilling, machining, cutting, sawing, stamping, and stacking
Conduct visual inspections and maintain accurate production and scrap records
Read and interpret drawings and routing sheets
Use calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices; perform SPC as required
Provide and maintain your own hand tools
Keep machines, equipment, and work area clean and organized

What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?

Ability to sit or stand and perform repetitive tasks for an 8-hour shift
Ability to walk, hear, see, and use both hands effectively
Ability to lift:
50 lbs. from floor to waist and back
90 lbs. from waist to floor
Handle 15 lbs. continuously throughout the shift

(Occasionally, work may exceed these physical requirements.)
