Moberly Regional Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR leader who is passionate about building high-performing teams, driving employee engagement, and creating an exceptional workplace culture within a growing community hospital.

As a key member of the hospital leadership team, you will influence organizational strategy, partner closely with department leaders, and champion initiatives that help attract, develop, and retain top healthcare talent. What You'll Do

Strategic HR Leadership

Develop and execute people strategies aligned with hospital and organizational goals.
Partner with senior leaders to build a workforce that supports long-term growth and operational excellence.
Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement.

Talent & Culture

Lead recruitment strategies to attract exceptional healthcare professionals and leaders.
Build programs that increase employee satisfaction, retention, and professional development.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Employee Relations & Compliance

Guide leaders and employees through employee relations matters with professionalism and fairness.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
Promote best practices in HR operations while mitigating organizational risk.

Department Leadership

Lead, develop, and mentor HR team members.
Establish goals, measure outcomes, and drive operational excellence across HR functions.
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and strategic initiatives.

Organizational Partnership

Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to support business objectives.
Use workforce data and metrics to identify opportunities and drive informed decision-making.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, and HR operations.
