Full Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and service-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team at Folio Restaurant. In this role, you will play an important part in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for our guests through attentive service, strong product knowledge, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. Folio Restaurant is a buffet-style dining experience in a unique location.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and professional table service to guests.
Take beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
Inform guests of the service-style and flow for an enjoyable experience.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Address guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including side work and table resets.
Support fellow team members during high-volume service periods.

Experience:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
Strong understanding of guest service and dining room etiquette.
Familiarity with OpenTable, Toast, or similar reservation and POS systems is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform tasks commonly associated with hospitality and event operations.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Ability to climb stairs and safely use step stools or ladders.
Ability to bend, reach, and move efficiently within a fast-paced service environment.

Schedule Requirements:

Employees should expect to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak service periods and events.

Work Environment

Duties will take place both indoors and outdoors during restaurant hours and events.
