Our Pediatric Dental offices are located in Frankfort, Oak Lawn, and Orland Park, Illinois and proudly serve the dental needs of infants, children, and teens (including those with special needs) in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Position Summary:

We are looking for an upbeat, positive, friendly and hardworking front desk person / receptionist for our Oak Lawn location. This is a full-time position, approximately 30-40 hours per week. We would like this person to very familiar with computers, electronic billing, and email communication. Experience with dental insurance billing and claims is preferred but not required.

Job Description:

There are 3 main components to this position:

1) Interacting with patients and families:

Greeting
Answering phones
Responding to emails
Appointment scheduling
Explaining insurance benefits
Explaining treatment plan
Managing recall communication (regular cleanings, etc)
Occasional emergency calls

2) Billing and insurance administration:

Collecting payment from patients
Managing accounts receivable
Sending reimbursement to insurance companies

3) General office administration:

Keeping desks and office tidy
Schedule management
Keeping track of and ordering office supplies

Qualities:

Overall, we’re looking for someone that is very upbeat and friendly but also assertive and confident in providing direction and guidance to patients and families (i.e. scheduling and billing). You must have patience, excellent customer service skills, and also love kids!

Requirements:

Experience with dental/medical insurances preferred (i.e. knowledge of what deductibles and breakdowns mean).
Some knowledge of dental terminology preferred.
Enjoy working with kids!

Schedule:

Full-time
Monday through Thursday - 7:30am to 5:00pm.
Friday 7:30am to 2:00pm.
Some Saturdays 7:30am to 12:00pm.
