We are looking for an energetic and passionate HR resource to help within our HR Department . The HR Administrative Assistant will serve across several functional areas including recruiting, employee relations, safety support, workers compensation and business area support. Assists with other projects such as employee relations events and activities, as well as communication efforts and special projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Compile data and assist and/or prepare business and government reports as required.
- Organize and maintain files/records
- Act as a liaison for Supervisors/Managers and employees to resolve questions related to policies
- Assist in HR Audits
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee (hourly and salary) information.
- Participates in Missouri Walnut Group 6S efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements.
- Will assist in the Missouri Walnut safety program by holding monthly meetings and safety walks
- Will be responsible for the OSHA 300 log
- Will be responsible for posting open positions on Indeed or other platforms
- Will be responsible for Missouri Walnuts social media accounts
- Any other duties assigned by Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 year’s experience with a comprehensive understanding of HR programs.
- 1-3 year's experience with OSHA 300 logs and Workers Compensation processing
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong self-starter with the ability to develop new processes, identify needs, implement, and train.
- Very strong communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.
- Project Management experience preferred, but not required
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
This position requires very strong communication skills through individual interactions, extensive written and oral communication, and large group presentations. Must be able to communicate with a diverse team of employees and various levels of management.
Must possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
