Part-Time Assistant Property Manager

Location: Danbury, Connecticut
Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Pay Range: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
Work Arrangement: Onsite at our Danbury office, supporting communities in the Monroe area

REI Property & Asset Management is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Assistant Property Manager to support a Community Manager and help provide exceptional service to homeowners, board members, vendors, and community partners.

What You’ll Do

The Assistant Property Manager will partner closely with the Property Manager to support daily community operations. Responsibilities include:

Processing and monitoring work orders
Preparing violation letters and other community correspondence
Drafting communications for homeowners, board members, and vendors
Preparing meeting minutes and tracking follow-up action items
Reviewing contracts and confirming requirements are met
Answering phone calls and responding to homeowner inquiries
Managing and responding to email communications
Maintaining organized and accurate records
Assisting with additional administrative and property management needs

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, email, and calendar management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
A customer-focused, professional approach
The ability to multitask and work independently
A self-motivated, reliable, and resourceful work style
Occasional evening availability for board meetings
Evening and weekend availability for emergency calls after completing the appropriate training

Previous property management, administrative, or customer service experience is helpful but not required for a candidate with strong transferable skills and an eagerness to learn.
