Full Job Description

Job Overview
Calling all caregivers! We are looking for caregivers for the Monroe, West Monroe, Ruston, Farmerville, Jonesboro, and Columbia areas! Competitive rates ranging from $11-$15. Qualifications include: - High school diploma or GED - 6+ months of caregiver experience - CNA certification preferred but not required Be part of an amazing team of people with a passion for assisting northeast Louisiana's elderly. Duties

Assist patients and residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track health status accurately.
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health management.
Maintain a safe environment by following aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care and phlebotomy when applicable.
Document patient information meticulously, adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect confidentiality and ensure accurate medical records.

Requirements

Valid CNA certification or equivalent licensure preferred; experience as a caregiver preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations such as seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS)
Experience in various healthcare environments including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients using Hoyer lifts and standing for extended periods.
Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care.
